Based on data from the 2014 General Social Survey, this is the first Statistics Canada study that examines the characteristics associated with being a victim of cyberbullying or cyberstalking and various indicators of trust, personal behaviour and mental health.

New legislation proposes to give Stats Canada more independence
On December 7, the Honourable Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development, tabled a bill that proposes to reinforce Statistics Canada's independence through legislative amendments to the Statistics Act.
