In this webinar, Local Immigration Partnership (LIP) members and municipal practitioners interested in immigration to joined us for a tour of the CDP Immigration Data Portal. Michel Frojmovic introduced the partnership between the Community Data Program and the LIP network as well as the resources available on the communitydata.ca Immigration Data Portal (IDP). A CDP team went over our numerous 2016 Census tables on Canada's immigrant population. A member of Statistics Canada's Longitudinal Immigration Database group introduced the recently-acquired community-level IMDB tables that allow mobility and outcomes of newcomers to be tracked over several years using taxfiler records.

If you don't have time to jump into the deep end of data, this webinar also shows the tools we have designed to quickly create profiles of the immigrant population in your community.
