We are one of 9 business improvement districts in HRM. Our role is economic development. This involves community engagement, beautification, creating a sense of community, supporting and sustaining businesses, community events, identifying service gaps in the surrounding community and seeking to fill needs among member businesses and organizations. Our community has a significantly high percentage of non-profits and advocacy organizations.
