Community Data Canada is hosting a free webinar to discuss how the National Household Survey can serve the needs of municipalities and community sector organisations at the municipal and sub-municipal scale (census division, census subdivision, census tract, and dissemination area).

A portion of the webinar will be dedicated to explaining the limitations of the NHS, including the usual limitations associated with the quinquennial survey, as well as new limitations resulting from changes to the methodology (e.g. comparing the NHS to earlier long form censuses, interpreting GNR rates, etc.).  It will also provide guidance in dealing with these issues at small area geographies.
